Mountains, Mistakes, and Mastery: My Journey of Renewal

I've been hard at work on an animation project—one that has taken years to bring to life. This secluded time in the mountains has given me the space to immerse myself in the story, fine-tune the details, and direct the voice actors with the precision the project deserves. But beyond the animation, I've found time to heal, grow, and reflect.

We all stumble, and if I’m being honest, I’ve had my share of failures along the way. Yet, being here has reminded me that failure is just another word for growth. The mountains have a way of grounding you, of forcing you to confront the past and embrace the lessons they hold. In this quiet, I’ve been able to rebuild, not only my business but also my mindset. I’ve been learning to lead consciously, serve with compassion, and let go of the need to problem-solve my way through every challenge.

As much as this time has been about work and healing, it’s also been about the joy of simply being. Whether hiking through trails, listening to the streams, or just sitting on a porch watching the sunset over the mountains, I’ve found a deep connection with nature that has fed my soul. Sometimes the best ideas come when we let go and enjoy the present moment.

The Cherokee National Forest has given me a fresh perspective on life, business, and creativity. It’s a place that’s filled me with gratitude and hope for what’s ahead, as I continue to grow my business, refine my craft, and help others on their journey too.
